Standing proudly under an illustrated plaque signed by the Commanding Officer of 442 Search & Rescue Squadron (Lt Col. Gordon Diamond) is a group made up of personnel from the Kamloops AES Weather Office and the Kamloops Flight Service Station (FSS). It was awarded in appreciation of services provided to Squadron aircrews, at the busy Kamloops airport strategically located in the BC interior.
